Parish Update 13th September 2022

The Parish Council are due to hold their next meeting on 19th September in Dunsmore Hall.

Given this date is now the State Funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, and has been declared a Bank Holiday, the correct protocol is to re-schedule.

This meeting has therefore been postponed.

The re-scheduled date will now be Monday 10th October to be held in Ellesborough Parish Hall at 7.30pm

It is with great sadness that today we learned of the passing of our late Sovereign, Queen Elizabeth the Second. Our sadness at this time is shared by people across the globe, as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service given by our longest reigning monarch.

Our condolences firstly to the late Queen's family.

From tomorrow and for a few more days Ellesborough church will be open from 10am - 6.00pm with a book of condolences and the Union Flag will be flown at half mast.

Ellesborough

A vacancy for the position of Parish Clerk within the small parish of Ellesborough will become available on 04 April 2022

Ellesborough is a village and civil parish in the south of Buckinghamshire. The village is at the foot of the Chiltern Hills just to the south of the Vale of Aylesbury, two miles from Wendover and five miles from Aylesbury. It lies between Wendover and Princes Risborough with a population of ~850

The successful applicant will be proficient with computers. Previous local government experience would be beneficial, however training will be available.

Hours : 15 per week

Salary : £7,800 p/a

Closing date for applications is Wednesday 10th February 2022

Interviews will be held week commencing 28th February 2022
